Darren Sidney Armistead

Darren S. Armistead, 43, of Lake Charles passed away in his residence.

Darren was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles and attended McNeese State University. He worked as a Technician in the Air Conditioning-Refrigeration repair business.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Sidney and Vada Armistead. Darren was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Frances Simmons Bernard and Ronald Bernard and his sister Deborah Schmutz.

His graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Reverend Ed Rose will officiate.
