Lake Charles – Daryl D. LeBert, born on April 16, 1962, son of the late Henry and Margaret Conner LeBert, passed away in his residence, January 20, 2018, at the age of 55.
Daryl attended LaGrange High School and was employed as a painter for McNeese State University. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and spending time with his family. Daryl loved helping with poker runs and that led to his interest in Harley Davidson’s.
He is survived by his wife, Debra LeBert; children, Heather Gauthreaux (Chris) of Iowa, Scott LeBert and fiancé, Krystal Poirrier; step-children, Jimmy Lee West and Bobby West; sister, Becky Moreaux (Lee); grandchildren, Avril and Christopher Gauthreaux, Jr., Zach, Bailey, Joycee and Anthony Poirrier, Dante Leonard; step-grandchildren, Jordyn, Korbyn and Caden West, with one on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mitch LeBert and grandson, Cameron LeBert.
A gathering of friends and family will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home – Iowa, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home- Iowa.
