David Bird

David DeWayne Bird, 55, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 5:07 am at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.  David was a God fearing man who loved church and the word of God.  He loved to fish, hunt and he loved football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs.  David loved to joke around.  He was always in good spirits and never met a stranger.  David was a hard worker that would help anyone in a heartbeat.    David is survived by his domestic partner of 18 years, Lee Franklin; his older sister, Maria Bird, his younger twin brother by 6 minutes, Darrell Bird, his brother, Mike Richard and his youngest sister, Kari LeDoux; nieces and nephews, Trent LeJeune, Krystle Strenth, Kaleb Vidrine, Tavyn Gibson, Aaron Bird, Amanda Bird, Brittany Bird, Jacob Richard, Kenzie Wiley, Dallyn Richard, Fabian Richard, Laney Richard, Clancey Richard, Hailey LeDoux and Samantha LeDoux; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends.  David was preceded in death by his mom, Hazel Bell May O’Quinn.   Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
