David Bruce Jones, 53 of Sulphur passed away on March 10, 2013in his residence. Bruce was born on September 25, 1959 in Baton Rouge, LA and lived in Sulphur for the past 12 years. He was a graduate of Michigan State University and LSU where he received his Juris Doctorate. Bruce practiced as an attorney for over 21 years owning his own practice, David Bruce Jones, PLC, At the Law Centre in Sulphur. Bruce loved hunting, fishing and boating with his son. He always had a smile for everyone and loved helping people in need. Bruce is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sharon Jellette Jones of Sulphur; son, Daniel Bruce Jones of Sulphur; step-daughter, April Chamberlain of Colorado; parents, Robert and Sara Jones of North Carolina; sisters, Dr. Lisa Jones and husband, Dr. Keith Smith of North Carolina and Sharon Jones of Paris, France; two nieces, Kaytlin Smith and Sara Smith; two nephews, Bruce and Lewis Gadea; and 5 grandchildren, Cody Chamberlain, Seth Chamberlain, Christian Chamberlain, Daisy Harbison and Ayden Worthen. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heidi Chamberlain. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 2P.M. at Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Weldon Bares officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon on Thursday until time of service.
