David Chance Moffat

David Chance Moffat, 22, of Sulphur passed away unexpectedly August 28, 2018. He was born March 4, 1996 in Lake Charles, the youngest son of Mark and Malisa Moffat. Chance attended Sulphur High School and graduated in 2015. He was currently working for Extreme Heat & AC in Sulphur, LA. Chance was a hardworking, caring, young man. He  loved his family and friends very much, along with his loyal companion, Sadie. Unfortunately the family is in a position they never thought to be in. They had to say goodbye sooner than expected.

Chance leaves behind  his parents, Mark and Malisa Moffat of Shooting Creek, NC; a sister, Sheree’ (Cade) of DeQuincy; a brother, Stephen of Sulphur; grandmother, Peggy Moffat of Zachary; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  Chance was excited to become an uncle to a niece in February. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Don Dowdy; maternal grandmother, Patsy Lovett; paternal grandfather, Donald Moffat; and cousin, Timothy Sedtal.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Berry officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 10 A.M.  till time of the service at the funeral home.
