David Brian Cormier, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 24, 2025, just a few days shy of his 69th birthday. Born on May 1, 1956, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, David lived a life filled with hard work, quiet humor, and a love for music and dancing.
A true jack of all trades, David spent most of his career as a Boiler Maker for Turner Industries, dedicating himself to the construction industry. His commitment to service extended beyond his work; he proudly served 25 years in the National Guard, participating in the Desert Storm campaign.
David was known for his quiet demeanor. He spent his life keeping to himself, enjoying the simple pleasures and sharing laughter with those he cared about. His love for music often found him dancing whenever the moment struck.
David is survived by his brother Daniel J. Cormier (Judy), his sister Denise Foreman (Brian), and numerous nieces and nephews. HE is preceded in death by his Parents Lesa and Hazel Cormier, and Brother Charles Cormier (Karen).
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.
