David Lee Riling

David Lee Riling, 41, of Lake Charles, passed away December 22, 2011 in the comfort of his mother's home following a long, courageous battle with a serious illness.

David was an avid writer, artist and musician who followed his heart. David carried a tremendous love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Cadence Riling and her mother, Kelly Taylor, Austin, Texas; parents, George and Judith Riling; sister, Denise Hoyel; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Guillot; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A gathering of friends will begin at 3:00 PM on Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Home, concluding with a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
