David Paul Moreau, born in Lake Charles, son of Paul Neller Moreau and Helen Marie (Arabie) Moreau, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the age of 60.
David was a brick mason, and a commercial fisherman, He was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed being outdoors, but most of all, getting together with his family was his first love.
He is preceded in death by his father, grandson, Daxx Richard, and stepdaughter, Courtney Parker.
David is survived by his mother, Helen Marie (Arabie) Moreau; children, Joshua Moreau, Jeremy Moreau (Brittani), Jacob Moreau (Jennye), and Ashly Moreau, step-son, Jake Parker; siblings, Steve Moreau, Marilyn Moreau, Tammy Moreau, Twila Woods, Russell Moreau, and Lisa Moreau; grandchildren, Kristy Moreau, John Moreau, Tralin Moreau, Jayden Fontenot, Eli Moreau, London Guidry Brilee Moreau, Keatin Moreau, Remi Richard, Zailye Moreau, and River Moreau.
Funeral services are Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Sweetlake-Grandlake Community Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Monday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. and will resume on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
