Welsh – David W. Fruge, born on December 18, 1955, son of the late Leonard and Leona (Dupuis) Fruge, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the age of 65.
David worked as a welder for the oilfield and in his spare time enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Brandon S. Fruge; sister, Felicia Conner; brother, Rodney Fruge.
David is survived by his wife, Ilean Fruge; son, Donovan W. Fruge; brothers, Ronnie Fruge; Leonard “Johnny” Fruge; Chris Fruge.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. Rev. Alan Trouille, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., with a rosary recited at 1:30 p.m.
As per the request of the family, face coverings will be required.
