Obituary Pending:
Deputy David Wayne Marcantel, 73, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2026 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 AM Monday, August 24, 2026 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Interment services will follow in Consolata cemetery. Visitation Sunday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Cursillo rosary beginning at 6:00 PM in the funeral home. Visitation Monday will resume at 8:00 AM until leaving in procession at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to localheartfoundation.org or colorsforacause.org .
