Deanna "Dee Dee" Sue Patterson

Deanna “Dee Dee” Sue Patterson, 60, of Welsh, passed away in her residence on Saturday, October 31, 2020.
“Dee Dee” was born in Lake Charles on October 3, 1960, daughter of the late Billy Wayne Smith and Susan Joyce (Utley) Wrigley. She was a graduate of Lake Charles High. She worked in sales at Home Furniture. “Dee Dee” loved tending to her flowers, cooking and entertaining with her friends. Her grandchildren brought her great joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, G. H. “Butch” Patterson.
“Dee Dee” is survived by her siblings, Doug Smith (Ronica); John “Skip” Wrigley (Dana), all of Lake Charles; David Smith (Monica) of Sulphur; Angela Clopton (Kevin) of Carlyss; fiancé, Darwin Brown; step-son, Charles Patterson (Alayna); grandchildren, Gunnar & Remmi; Carol DeRon.
As per her request, cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
