Deanne Marie (Mallett) Myers, born in Lake Charles on August 21, 1951, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. She was 72.
A graduate of Bell City High School, Deanne was employed with Acadian Hearing and Oceans Health Care. She was of the Catholic faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, dancing, camping and hosting family get togethers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Aileen (Bujol) Mallett; brothers, Little Joey Mallett, Monty Mallett, and Marty Mallett.
Survivors are her loving husband of 42 years, Curley Myers; children, Amy Broussard (Damus); Jason Reed (Cylyce); Lisa Fruge (Sean); Laura Myers; Terry Myers (Karen); Guy Myers (Connie), and Michelle Whitfield (Steve); siblings, Jerry Mallett (Cathie), and Mary Stelly (Mark); 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, October 20, 2023 at 5 p.m. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins at 12 p.m. in the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 4:30 p.m.
