Debra Lognion LaFleur 68, of Sulphur, LA died on Monday, September 11, 2023, in a local hospital.
Ms. LaFleur was born December 1, 1954 in Lake Charles, La. Ms. LaFleur worked in banking for over 40 years. Affectionately known by her grandchildren as “Rah Rah”, she devoted her life and her love to her grandchildren and was sure to “always” be there for countless parties, school functions, recitals and sporting events.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Christina Comeaux (fiancé, Lance Corner) of Lake Charles and Lacy Bradley (Jeremy) of Lake Charles; son, Gregory LaFleur (Jennifer) of Sulphur; eight grandchildren, Chase Kohlenberg (Lexy), Katelyn Kohlenberg, Grayson LaFleur, Brooklyn LaFleur, Gabrielle Comeaux, Clelie Seneca (Gavin), Jack Bradley and Riley Bradley; two great grandsons, Hudson and Hayden Kohlenberg; one sister, Janet Guidry Rion (Loyd); aunt, Linda Rae Cassell; stepmother, Gennieve Darbonne Lognion; and long-term friend, Cathy Leubner.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Cormier Lognion; father, Euclide E. Lognion; and her one brother, Darrell Keith Lognion.
Visitation Thursday, September 14, 2023 will be from 4:00 until 6:00 PM with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Graveside services Friday will be at 8:30 AM at Consolata Cemetery. Pastor Jody LaFleur will officiate.
