Debra Suzann Campbell

A memorial service will be held for Debra Suzann Campbell, 58, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Johnson's Funeral home. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., followed with a Cursillo Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Deacon Bennett McNeil will conduct the memorial service immediately following the rosary.

Debbie claimed her place in Heaven on March 20, 2017, in CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Sherry Ann Campbell, her mother, Dorothy Veillon Stroud, her step-father, Dr. Howard Stroud Jr., and her family of caregivers from CARC.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Herman Edward "Eddie" Campbell of La Marque TX, her maternal grandparents, Wilson and Fabiola Eval Veillon of Lake Charles; and paternal grandparents, Aaron Eugene and Martha Campbell of South Carolina.

The family would like to thank the numerous physicians, nurses, ancillary staff at St Patrick Hospital's Emergency Department, ICU, Unit 51 and CHRISTUS Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Debbie.  Also, we wish to thank Johnson's Funeral Home for respectfully carrying out the wishes of our family.  A private interment will be held on Monday.
