Delbert Irvin "Del" Gaunt, 78, of Lake Charles died Tuesday July 12, 2011 at a local hospital.
He was born in Grass Valley, California to Greg O. and Ester Rollins Gaunt. He was a retired engineer in the aerospace industry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Ellia Vidrine Gaunt, Lake Charles; daughters, Linda Sue, Waco, TX; Lelah Ann, Arco, ID; Terra Lyn and Melissa, Lake Charles; sons, Greg, Brigham City, UT; Johnny, Ronnie and Roger, all of Lake Charles; and Shannon, Humble, TX; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Church in LeBleu Settlement with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. A celebration of life will be on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1511 Artemo Road, LeBleu Settlement, LA.
