Della Funk Vick
January 8, 1921 — November 15, 2018
Della Funk Vick, 97, passed away on November 15, 2018 in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Vick was a resident of the Lake Charles area her entire life. For over thirty years she worked with her sisters at Funk’s Florist Shop. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son, Carl G. Vick; seven grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded death by her husband, Carl Guy Vick; parents, Albert and Ella Funk; son, Albert M. “Bubba” Vick; and son, Ronald D. Vick.
Johnson Funeral Home will direct a graveside service on Monday, November 19 at 11:30AM at Goos Cemetery. Monsignor Danny Torres will officiate.
The family would like to thank Elvie Jones, Vertis Royster, and Lisa Garriet for their loving care.
