Delores Ann LeJune Comeaux, 70, of Lake Charles was called to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2016 in a New Orleans hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Comeaux was born on November 17, 1946 in Lake Charles where she lived all of her life and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.
Mrs. Comeaux enjoyed sewing and gardening and was known for her fantastic cooking skills. She was an exceptional mother who was always there for her children and who welcomed those who needed a place to stay or a meal to eat. She will be remembered for her kind, generous heart.
Those left to cherish her memory are the greatest love of her life, her husband of 52 years, Patrick Comeaux of Lake Charles; five children, Pamela Perruzza (Raymond) of Lake Charles; Melissa Day (John) of Lake Charles; Haley Comeaux (LoLo Boudoin) of Holmwood; Adam LeJune of Olympia, WA; and Yanna Petty of Austin, TX; three brothers, Larry LeJune (Lynn) of Grand Lake, Dwayne LeJune of Lake Charles, and Keith LeJune of Sulphur; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.P. and Hazel Guidry LeJune and a sister, Patricia Biggs Powel.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a scripture service being held at 6:00 PM followed by a Cursillo Rosary at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until leaving for the church at 9:30 AM.
