Hayes-Denny J. Fontenot, 64, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in a local hospital.
Denny was born in New Iberia to the late Carlton and Helen (Bourque) Fontenot on December 14, 1949. He was driver for the Department of Transportation and served in the United States Navy on the U.S. S. Whipple.
He is survived by his sons, Aaron, Denny L. and Justin Fontenot; sister, Sharon Richard (Larry); 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother, Benny Fontenot.
A memorial service will be held in his home at South 8288, Hwy 101, Hayes, LA on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
