Destanie Bailey Holbrook, 25, of Sulphur passed away on February 16, 2019 in her residence surrounded by her family. She was a country girl at heart, loved being outdoors, shooting guns, bonfires, and listening to music. Destanie was a very happy and outgoing person who always had a smile on her face. She worked for Dairy Barn for 9 years and loved being around her family and friends.
Destanie is survived by her loving husband, Richard Holbrook of Sulphur; her daughter, Nevaeh Holbrook; step-daughter, Isabella “Izzy” Holbrook; 3 siblings, Jasmine Bailey, Thomas J. Bailey and Raina Neal; parents, James and Christina Bailey; grandparents, Helen Vincent, Jesse Duhon, Roy and Cynthia Bailey; 5 God children, Malachi Cormier, Honey Cormier, Elijah Chaumont, Zeava Pitt, and Maddie Pitt; God-parents, Richard and Belinda Mehus; and Godmother, Betty Spinks.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 4-9 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Friday, February 22, at 8 A.M. until time of the service.
