Diane Gay Mcdaniel

Diane Gay McDaniel, 59, of Lake Charles, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday June 23, 2018.

Diane was born in Lake Charles and a 1976 graduate of Barbe High School. She was devoted Christian, serving the Lord with the ministry of Apostolic Temple in Lake Charles.

Preceding Diane in death are her father, Samuel D. McDaniel, step father, John Curtis Hooper; and brother, Dennis Glen McDaniel. Those left to honor her memory are her mother, Odessa Beebe (McDaniel) Hooper, Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Tery McDaniel Owens, Jena, LA; nephews, Samuel Adam McDaniel and wife Kristina and Louis Taylor McDaniel, both of Jena; and great nieces, Alyssa Leanne McDaniel, Arion Lenay McDaniel, Autumn Lacy McDaniel and Arie Love McDaniel; and her extended church family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Thursday June 28 at the Apostolic Temple. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the church with Rev. Ricky Treece officiating. Burial alongside her father will be at Prien Memorial Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
