Dianna White

Dianna White, 77, of Lumberton, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, surrounded by her loving family.

Dianna was born on December 24, 1948, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucy Reeves. She was a 1967 graduate of Marion High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lucy Reeves; her husband, Earl White; her sisters, Nelda Prime and Helen Vassos; and her brothers, Myles David "MD" Reeves and Thomas "Tommy" Reeves.

For more than 30 years, Dianna worked at the Metropolitan and the UT Club in Austin, Texas, serving members and fans of the Texas Longhorns with a warmth that made her a familiar and beloved face. She was also a devoted member of Parkway Life Church in Lumberton, Texas, where she served on the Serve Team and the Dream Team, greeting new guests and welcoming everyone who walked through the doors.

Dianna's greatest joys were her family, her garden, her kitchen, traveling with her sisters, Donita and Marynell, and her church community. She poured her heart into raising her son and building a beautiful, blended family alongside her husband, Earl.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Derek Veillon of Houston, Texas; sons Greg White (Cherie) and Mark White (Pam), both of Wisconsin; granddaughter Kasslyn Veillon; grandchildren Kayla Fields and Olivia White of Wisconsin, and Jamie and Matthew White of Wisconsin; five great-grandchildren, Mikey, Faith, Archer, Talia, and Dutton, all of Wisconsin, whom she cherished so much; two sisters, Mary Filipski of Topsy, Louisiana, and Donita Abate of Lumberton, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved very much.

Dianna will be remembered for her open heart, her welcoming spirit, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and devotion that will carry on through all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff, located at 2171 N Hwy 171, Lake Charles, LA 70611, led by Pastors Cody and Melanie Morgan of Parkway Life Church. Dianna will be laid to rest at Creel Cemetery in Reeves, Louisiana, following the service. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.
