Diego Luis Ramos

Diego Luis Ramos, 34, of Sulphur, LA died at 8:39 AM on Friday, June 15, 2012 in his residence.

Diego was born July 2, 1977 in Homestead, FL and has lived in Sulphur, LA for the past seven years. He worked as a laborer and supervisor in the various industries in the area. He was a gamer and outdoorsman and enjoyed remote control cars and helicopters. He will always be remembered as a family man, a great husband, and his love for his children.

Diego is survived by his wife of six years, Jessica Ramos; children, Shelby Elizabeth Ramos, Arturo Luis Ramos, and Gabriel Armenda Matthews-Ramos; mother, Marie Ramos Coto; father, Jose Selpulveda; brothers, Joey Selpulveda and Richard Manecias; sister, Angie Perez; grandmother, Mirtha Ramos; mother-in-law, Margie Ray; and sister-in-law, Brandy Ray and Peanut.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jose Ramos.

His body was donated to science. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
