Dolores Anne "Dolly" Granger Aguillard

Dolores “Dolly” Aguillard, 65, of Sweetlake, LA passed away Wednesday, November15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Dolly was born on August 24, 1958, to John and Enola Granger in Lake Charles, LA. She was known for the gift of gab, and always referring to the younger generation as “My Baby”. Dolly loved to give advice, and most of all caring for her family. You could always find her at home, drinking coffee with her family and friends.

Dolly is survived by her loving husband Kevin Aguillard Sr. of 37 years two sons, Joshua Aguillard of Lake Charles, LA and KB Aguillard and wife Addie of Iowa, LA; two brothers, Thomas Granger and wife Linda of Sweetlake, LA Bryan Granger and wife Janet of Sweetlake, LA: one sister, Debra Granger Ogea and husband John of Sweetlake, LA: mother in law Ada Aguillard of Big Lake, LA; three brother in laws Ray Aguillard and wife Dee Dee of Big Lake, LA, Toby Aguillard and wife Rachel of Lafayette, LA, Joe Aguillard and wife April of Indian Village, LA; two sisters in law Aimee Aguillard of Big Lake, Renee Aguillard Laymoun and husband Khaled of Prairieville, LA.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Bonnie Jean Granger; brothers, Robert Wayne Granger (Diane) and John Lee Granger (Susan); and two grandchildren Stoney Kole, and Scottie Tate Aguillard; father-in-law Oscar “Buster” Ray Aguillard Sr. and brother-in-law Derek Aguillard.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA.  Msgr. James Gaddy will officiate.  Burial will follow on a later date. Visitation will begin at Johnson Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM and a rosary will be recited at 1:30PM.

The family is grateful and thankful for all of the family and friends who brought food, love, and support.
