Dolores Dean Hebert Meadows

Dolores Dean Hebert Meadows, 81, of Carlyss, LA, died at 10:09 PM on Friday, March 3, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Meadows was born May 17, 1935 in Abbeville, LA and lived most of her life in Sulphur, LA. She worked for Burton’s Hardware for a number of years and also would care for the elderly. She was a member of Our Lady of Lasalette Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Meadows is survived by her sons, Anthony Ross of Lake Charles, Phillip Hebert of Westlake, LA, and Shawn Meadows and wife Christie of Carlyss, LA; sisters, Evelyn Chaison and husband Joe, Mary Demeritt, and Brenda James and husband Jesse; five grandchildren, Madison Meadows, Ashley Hebert, Justin Meadows, Cody Meadows, and Kristan Deroche; and six great-grandchildren, Brayden Baillio, Dakota Meadows, Justin Meadows, II, Ethan Meadows, McKinley Benoit and Mason Benoit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Meadows; parents, Ethel Berry and Dudley Hebert; and brother, Kenneth Hebert

A gathering of family members and friends will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
