Don "Paw Paw" Daigle

Mr. Don “Paw Paw” Daigle, 86, passed away on January 9, 2019 at a local hospital.

Mr. Daigle was a graduate of LaGrange High School and played football at McNeese St. University. He then served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a lifetime member of the I.B.E.W. Local 861. He was an avid bird hunter. His family remembers him as a kind man that never met a stranger. Most of all, he was a Paw Paw to all and a loving grandfather.

He is survived by two step sons, John M. Daugherty, and David Daugherty; seven grandchildren, Chad, Tammy, Jared, Justin, Scott, Erin, and Jill; and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Marjie Daigle; sister, Elaine Griffith; and two step daughters, Debbie Maddox and Cheryl Daugherty.

A funeral will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 12 at 2PM. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Chad and Riley George will officiate.  Visitation will begin at the funeral home Saturday morning at 10AM until the start of the service.
