Donald R. "Donnie" Constance

Woodlawn – Donald R. Constance, 69, passed away in his home, Monday, October 12, 2015 from complications of kidney disease.
Donnie was born May 30, 1946 in Lake Charles. He retired from Coushatta Casino in 2011 and worked part-time at the National Golf Club of Louisiana. Donnie served in the U. S. Army in Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia J. “Joy” Landry Constance; three daughters, Rachel Fuller, Keitha Kouba and Dana Briscoe; brother, Johnny Constance; Da’s special little man, Jaxon Garrett Landry; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous step-sisters and one step brother. Donnie is preceded in death by his son, Bryan K. Constance; parents, Asa & Ruby Constance, Ethel & Ralph Guynes and in-laws, Harris & Elvern Landry.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation begins Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards the Constance Memorial Fund, 20064 Witherwax Road, Iowa, LA 70647.
