LeBleu Settlement – Dories Jean Chesson, 69, passed away in the comfort of her home, Friday, October 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Dories was born in Lake Charles on May 29, 1948 to the late Roy Hebert & Rosetta LeBleu. She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family.
Survivors are her children, Walter Chesson, Jr and wife Sheila, Kent Chesson and wife Summer, Brent Chesson and wife Shannon, Dennis Chesson and wife Cat, Jennifer Stewart and husband Mike, Wendi Chesson; siblings, Jerry Hebert and wife Maggie, Geraldine Manuel and husband Perry; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Olin Chesson, Sr., sister, Mary Manuel.
Visitation begins Monday, October 23, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. and will resume Tuesday from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Bro. Charles Manuel officiating in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery.
