Dorothy Lee Hicks

Dorothy Lee (Widcamp) Hicks, 87, a resident of Westlake, LA passed from this life
on December 1, 2016 in the peace of her home. Dorothy was born on August 27, 1929 to
Valre and Alty (Baker) Widcamp in Westlake, LA.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Dorothy was an active member of First Baptist Church of Westlake and enjoyed traveling,
cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Warren R. Hicks, Sr., parents, daughter, Sharon Hicks, great grandson, Jase Hicks, brother, Wesley Widcamp and sisters, Bernice (Widcamp) Carpenter and Francis (Widcamp) deCastonas.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Warren "Rusty" Hicks, Jr. (Mary Lou) of San Antonio, TX and David Hicks (Linda) of Westlake, LA, grandchildren, Karen (Bill) Smith, Stacie (Steven) Clark, and John (Tabitha) Hicks, great grandchildren,
Katelyn Clark, Russ Clark, Reed Hicks and Luke Hicks, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Dec 6, 2016 in the sanctuary of
First Baptist Church of Westlake. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson
Funeral Home.
