Dorothy Sue Jackson

Dorothy Sue Stewart Jackson, 78, of Sulphur, LA passed away on June 7, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her three children, Melissa Kay Cooley, Crayton Jackson Jr and wife Domethia Denice Jackson, and Leslie Michelle Jackson; six grandchildren, Amy Lynn Hester, Amanda Grace Breaux Mason, James Alex Breaux, Aaron Joseph Breaux, Douglas Aaron Briggs,  and August Moses Jackson; eight great grandchildren, Brianna Marie Davis, Matthew Lee Hester, Jacob Hunter Hester, Javonte Rashard Douglas, Joshua Keith Douglas, Kaylie Nicole Mason,  Gabrielle Joseph Breaux, and Josiah Joseph Breaux; great-great grandchildren, Aubree Faye Davis and Braxton Eli Dugas; one brother, Stephen Stewart, Sr. (Steve) and wife Lena (Flo) Stewart; her faithful support team, Poochie and Spike Jackson; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, Crayton Jackson, Sr.; her sister, Shirley Ann Nuchols; and her brother, David L. Stewart. Funeral services will be at 12 PM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Johnson Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 10 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Bigwood’s Cemetery in Edgerly, LA.
