Douglas Louis Benoit

Douglas Louis Benoit, 57, of Lake Charles, LA died at 1:45 PM on Monday, May 13, 2013.

Mr. Benoit was born December 20, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA and was a 1974 graduate of Lake Charles High School. He worked the past eighteen years as a floor installer and was a member of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Benoit is survived by his wife, Cynthia Breaux Benoit; daughter, Candace Benoit; brother, Joe Benoit; grandsons, Trevon Benoit, Braylon Landry and Dominic Landry, all of Lake Charles; step-sons, Arthur McKinney of Baton Rouge, Patrick McKinney of Shreveport, LA, William Reeves of Grand Lake and Bryan Reeves of Moss Bluff; and four step-grandchildren, Alexis Reeves, Emma Reeves, and Megan Reeves, all of Grand Lake, LA and Dillan Reeves of Houston, TX.

His memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon George Carr will officiate. A gathering of friends will be on Friday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
