Drucilla Foreman

Drucilla Foreman, 79, of Sulphur, passed away at her home on Friday, January 16, 2026. A cancer survivor, Drucilla faced life’s hardest seasons with remarkable strength, anchored always by her deep faith in Christ. Attending church every Sunday was not just a routine for her, but a source of comfort, community, and unwavering hope. She enjoyed doing word searches, playing mahjong, and spending time with her loyal dog, Oreo. She especially cherished watching her great-grandson play in the school band, moments that brought her great joy. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her example of perseverance, devotion, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Drucilla is survived by her grandson, Johnathan Montie; great-grandson, Maddox Montie; son in law, James Montie; brothers Randall McClelland, Sylvester McClelland and wife, Wanda; sister, Joyce Abshire; a host of nieces and nephews; and dog, Oreo. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Montie; father, Jesse McClelland; mother, Electa McClelland; brother, Cecil McClelland; sisters, Louella McClelland and Mildred Williams; along with several sisters and brothers.

Services for Drucilla will be held at a later date.
