Iowa – Duane James Dunaway, born on July 22, 1963, son of the late Elray B. and Dorothy May (Hebert) Dunaway, passed away in his residence on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the age of 58.
Duane was employed as a table dealer with Isle of Capri. He was a gifted musical artist and loved singing. Duane also loved martial arts. He enjoyed being with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Harry Dunaway; Elray Dunaway, Jr., and Dwight A. Dunaway.
Duane is survived by his daughter, Misty Dunaway; sons, Cameron Dunaway; Caleb Dunaway; siblings, John Paul Dunaway; Steven Thomas Dunaway; Robert Oran Dunaway; Miriam Sue Fontenot; Betty Rose Miller; Dejuanna Marie Difranco; grandchildren, Carson Michael Doak; Emory Paige Doak, and mother of his children, Eva Lee.
Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. As per his wishes, there will be no formal service.
