Dwain Dean Duhon

Dwain Dean Duhon, 56, of Lake Charles passed away at 2:31 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in a local hospital.

Mr. Duhon was born on October 15, 1960 in Port Sulphur, LA and lived his adult life in Lake Charles. He was a welder in the construction industry. Mr. Duhon enjoyed fishing and especially loved riding motorcycles.

In his earlier years, he was known for his drawings. Mr. Duhon will be remembered for making everyone laugh with his great sense of humor.

Those left to cherish his memory are four children, Daniel Duhon (Shawntel) of Lake Charles, Samantha Duhon of Iowa, and David and Jessica Duhon both of Hayes; three siblings, Vanessa Lalanne (Jack) of Hecker, Darrell Duhon of Lake Charles, and Geneva Duhon of Spring, TX; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Bert Duhon.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 19, 2017 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Dewitt will officiate. Burial will follow in Andrus Cove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the start of the service.
