It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dwaynna Lynn Vincent, born on July 1, 1981, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who left us on August 6, 2026, in Sulphur, Louisiana. Dwaynna was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, and her love was as immense as her spirit.
A proud graduate of Parkview, Dwaynna embraced life with a contagious joy. A devoted mother, she built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and an extra sprinkle of holiday magic through her incredible decorating skills. She had a passion for music that filled the air and a love for cruising that took her on adventures with friends and family. Dwaynna was known for her baking talents and her knack for couponing, always finding a way to bring delicious treats and a bit of savings to those around her.
Dwaynna cherished her role as a grandmother, pouring her heart into her grandchildren-Avah Rose, Avery, Amily, Layne, Dazie, Saylor, and Everleigh-making each moment with them special and unforgettable. To many, she was a nurturing mother figure, always ready with open arms and kind words.
She leaves behind her beloved son, Jimmy Vincent, and his fiance, Ashlyn Wilson; her daughter, Jamie Lilly, and her husband, Coty; her cherished mother, Katherine LeDoux; her siblings, Jennifer Vincent, Heather Vincent, and Markey Bandeaux; sister-in-law, Alexa Favre; and the children's father, Steven Vincent. Dwaynna is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Lee Vincent; her brother, Chad Bandeaux; and her uncle, David LeDoux.
Join us as we celebrate the beautiful life of Dwaynna Lynn Vincent. A memorial service will take place at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Friends are invited to gather at the same location starting at 11:00 AM to share stories, laughter, and love in remembrance of this extraordinary woman.
Though she is no longer with us, Dwaynna's spirit will forever shine in our hearts. May her memory inspire us to cherish every moment and spread love as she did.
