Eddie Cranston Anderson was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on April 15, 1955, son of the late Milton Anderson, Sr., and Elma Jack Anderson. He passed away February 17, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones.
Eddie was a loving brother, uncle, and friend. He never met a stranger, was the life of the party, and known for being a very dapper dresser.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; Milton Anderson, Sr. and Elma Jack Anderson; three sisters; Pollie Anderson, Velma Anderson, and Mollie Anderson, one brother; Chris “Chubby” Anderson, one nephew; Kenion Anderson, and one sister-in-law, Pamela Anderson.
He leaves to cherish his memory six brothers; Milton (Carolyn) Anderson, Jr., Ray (Lou) Anderson, Jolly Anderson, Stoney “Blackie” Anderson, Donny “Petey” Anderson, all of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Stanley (Sharie) Anderson of Houston, Texas; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Services will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
