Eddy Glen Guillory, 78, of Moss Bluff, LA, died at 11:44 PM on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in a local care facility.
Mr. Guillory was born December 8, 1940 in Eunice, LA and lived most of his life in the Lake Charles / Moss Buff areas. He was a 1959 graduate of Marion High School and served his country in the U.S. Army, as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired as a conductor from Kansas City Southern Railroad after over thirty-five years of service. He was raised in the Catholic faith and was a member of LARKS (Lake Area Remote Kontrol Society). Mr. Guillory was an avid reader and loved airplanes, guns, and animals, but his true love was for his family.
Mr. Guillory is survived by his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Fay Guillory; daughter, Lisa Phillips; son, Scott Guillory and wife Melissa, all of Moss Bluff; brothers, Charles Guillory and wife Marvelene, Dennis Guillory and wife Carla, Johnny Guillory, and Alan Guillory; sister, Nancy Collette and husband Glen; grandchildren, Christopher Phillips, April Sullivan, Cassidy Phillips, Matthew Guillory, Laura Guillory; eight grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mildred Guillory; and a grandson.
His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
