Edgar Ray Little

April 3, 1937 — May 23, 2017

Edgar “GoGo” Ray Little, 80, of Hackberry passed away on May 23, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Hackberry. GoGo loved to work in his garden, plant trees, and watch country music on television. He retired from Strategic Petroleum Reserve as a maintenance supervisor after 21 years of service. Sundays were special to him because family and friends always came around to visit.

GoGo is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marie Little of Hackberry; son, Lonnie Little and wife Melanie; daughter, Lisa Maddox and husband Rickie all of Hackberry; 5 grandchildren, Rusty Byler, Kendra Byler Phipps and husband Dylan, Matthew Little and wife Laci, Jamie Little and Jessie Little; 6 great grandchildren, Gauge and Caliber Byler, Kynleigh, Kollins, Dawsyn Phipps and Taylie Little; sister, Nell Perrodin, Gloria Swire, Billie Ogea and husband Johnny, Betty Manuel, and Linda Faye Little; brother, James “Pete” Little; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Guillot; father, Columbus Little; brother, Lawrence Little; and sisters, Barbara and Patricia Little.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 1 P.M. at St. Peter Catholic Church in Hackberry with Father Gijo Ikkaramattom officiating. Burial will be in New Hackberry Cemetery in Hackberry under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2-9 P.M. at St. Peters Catholic Church Hall with a rosary at 7 P.M. with visitation continuing on Friday, May 26 at 9 A.M. until time of the service.
