Edward E. Johnson

Mr. Edward E. Johnson, 83, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. He was born in Iowa and a resident of Sulphur.

For 53 years, Mr. Johnson worked for various telephone companies all over the United States. He was a WWII Navy veteran and he enjoyed traveling and woodworking.

He is survived by two children, Michael Johnson of Sulphur and Cathy Hibbs of Carmi, Illinois; three grandchildren, Cory Hibbs, Sara Hibbs and Ashley Hibbs; one brother, Arlen Johnson of Sulphur; two sisters, Del Babineaux of Lake Charles and Marlene Koenekamp of Houston.

Funeral service will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Father John Huckaby will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4PM-9PM with a rosary at 6PM. Visitation will continue Monday from 8AM until time of service.
