Edward Lynn “Animal” Wildberger, 64, passed away on April 20, 2021 in a local hospital. Edward left this world surrounded by family and friends. He was a native of Sulphur, LA, and lived there the most part of his life.
Edward was a member of the Road Baron Bike Club for many years, and enjoyed every minute of his time with his Brother’s. As a member, he attended and assisted in many charity events to help people in need. His stories of his Brother’s were quite humorous and entertaining. He was known by many as well as loved, and he will be missed dearly.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. Wildberger and Agnes Landry Wildberger. A brother Robert Wildberger; sisters Mildred Fontenot, Burnette LeLeux, Bernice Hebert, and Beatrice Vincent.
He leaves behind a sister, Dorothy Simon of Vinton, LA and a brother Richard “Peachy” Wildberger of Sulphur, LA. His son’s Joey Duhon and Dwayne Duhon of Dayton, TX.
The family would especially like to thank Charlie “Bucket” Martin for all he has done to help. He has been by Edward’s side from the start of his illness, and is by the family’s side today. Also, Tony “Gravy” Authemont for donating the vault to help the family.
Funeral arrangements to be held at Simple Traditions in Lake Charles, LA on Monday, April 26, 2021. Family visitation will begin at 9:00am-9:30am, friend’s visitation will begin at 9:30am-11:00am. Service will begin at 11:00am, following service procession will begin to Big Woods Cemetery.
