Edward Calvin Pickett

Edward Calvin Pickett, born on March 15, 1968, son of the late Edward Cecil Pickett, and Sharon Janell Baily, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving and devoted family, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 54.

Edward was a diesel mechanic, and enjoyed tinkering on just about any machine he could get his hands on. In addition, he owned Eddie’s Handyman Service, LLC and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and being with his family.

Edward is survived by his children, Edward Corey Lynn Pickett (Sadie Qualls), Brett Thibodeaux (Seth), and Britney Miltenberger (Gannon); grandchildren, Sydney Pickett and Levi Pickett, Adaline Miltenberger, Abigail Miltenberger, and baby Miltenberger on the way; mother of his children and life-long friend, Vickie Pickett; brother, Michael Pickett (Rita); nephew, Jordan Pickett. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. A gathering of friends and family will be announced later. Burial of his cremains will be in Bundick Lake Cemetery at a later date.
