Elaine Marie Cormier “Hey” to those who knew her best, 73, of Crowley, LA passed away on April 3, 2024. Elaine was born on September 1, 1950, to Ulysse and Agnes Romero in Lafayette, LA. She will always be known for her nurturing love as well as her strong “Spicy” Cajun personality. She enjoyed doing carpentry work with her son, traveling, fishing, and of course many fun hours of card playing with friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two loving children, Tracie LeBouef and husband Lane and Shane Romero and wife Tammy; four grandchildren, Devon Briscoe, Aaron Dubois, Blake Romero, and Carley Reed; five great grandchildren, Kaylee Dubois, Tripp Dubois, Adelynn Briscoe, Cullen Briscoe, and Norah Briscoe.

Elaine is preceded by her parents; daughter, Laura Dubois; grandson, Jacob Romero; and two brothers, Ronald Romero and Donald Romero.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
