Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Walls
February 2, 1966 — July 16, 2014
Iowa-Elizabeth A. Walls, 48, born February 2, 1966, a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend, passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
Liz was a resident of Iowa most of her life. She attended Iowa High School. She worked at Church Point Wholesale doing multiple jobs as she was a very organized multi-tasker. Liz took pride in her work and enjoyed being with her family and friends. She enjoyed being outdoors and listening to birds singing along with watching the squirrels playing in her yard. Not a day went by that you wouldn’t find her watching cartoons with her husband and dog. Her husband and family meant the world to her. She was a wonderful, kind, loving, loyal wife, sister and friend. She leaves behind many wonderful memories with each person she has met through the years. Liz will be greatly missed by all!
Liz is survived by her husband and best friend of 22 years, Michael “Mike” Eugene Walls of Iowa; their dog, Scooter, mother, Dianna Meche of Iowa; stepson, Craig Allen Walls (Ashley) of Columbus, OH; three sisters, Melissa Kim Gray (Bruce) of Lacassine, Kimberly Regina Huseman (George) of Brownwood, TX, and Kerry Rachelle Meche of South Padre Island, TX; two brothers, Jean Noah Meche, Jr. of Iowa, Jason Gerard Anthony Meche of Westlake, Also surviving her are 3 grandchildren, Savannah Pernell, C. J. Woolever and Annaley Walls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her father, Jean “Deno” Noah Meche, Sr.
Cremation is under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
