She also had a deep interest in genealogy, carefully preserving family history for generations to come. A wonderful cook, Elizabeth expressed her love through food and made it a tradition to prepare each child's favorite meal on their birthday, small moments that became cherished memories. She was an accomplished seamstress, making by hand, her grandchildren's christening gowns and first communion dresses.
She was a proud graduate of St. Charles Academy in Lake Charles and spent more than 20 years working as a sales clerk at Standers Young Fashions, where she was known for her dedication and warm personality. Strong, steady, and caring, Elizabeth touched many lives through her kindness and consistency.
