Ella Grace Johnson

Ella Grace Johnson, 57, of Lake Charles passed away on August 31, 2023 at a local hospital just five days after her loving mother, Leary Murphy passed away.  A native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Ella was born on October 9, 1965 to Wallace and Leary Ogea.  She was an extremely hard worker and excelled at every job that was placed before her.  Ella Grace had such a big heart and could make a friend anywhere she went. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband; Greg Johnson, sons; Aaron Johnson and Brice Johnson, brothers; Arthur Ogea and Richard Ogea, 2 grandchildren; Keauna Johnson and Sawyer “Saw Saw” Johnson along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM with a Rosary recited at 5:00PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake St. Lake Charles, LA. 70605.  Funeral services will begin at 10:00AM, Wednesday, September 6, 2023 also at Johnson Funeral Home.
