Hayes – Ella M. LaCombe, born on April 7, 1933, daughter of the late Victor and Victorine (Bellanger) Guillotte, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at the age of 87.
Ella was a graduate of Bell City High. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her potted plants and watching hummingbirds. She was Catholic by faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Clyde W. LaCombe; daughter, Jennifer Jane Granger and 3 siblings.
Ella is survived by her children, Kathy Tell (Ron) of Lake Charles; Deloras Campbell (Jerry) of Bell City; Connie Thevis (Andrew) of Klondike and Melinda Guillory of Hayes; brother, Nelson Guillotte of Brookshire, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lacassine Cemetery.
Visitation will begin from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
