Ellen "Jeri" Hohensee

Ellen “Jeri” Hohensee, 88 of Kountze died Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Pelican Bay.

Mrs. Hohensee was a native of Jennings, LA. She lived most of her life in the Lake Charles/Moss Bluff area, and moved to Kountze, TX in 2008. Jeri was a member of First Baptist in Kountze.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her husband of forty-nine years, Bobby Gene Hohensee.

Mrs. Hohensee is survived by her two sons, Randy and Dale Hohensee and their spouses, three grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held in Silsbee, TX at Broussard’s on Friday, February 18^th from 5 PM to 8 PM and then at University Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA Saturday, February 19^th at 9:30 AM with funeral services to begin at 10:30 AM, and burial at Highland Memory Gardens to follow.
