Ellen "Renee" Ponthieux

Ellen Reneé Quinn Ponthieux, 56, of Lake Charles, LA died on Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Reneé was born February 19, 1961 in Groves, TX and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles, where she attended Lake Charles High School. She would always put others before herself and always helping in any manor she could.

Reneé is survived by her sons, Heath Ponthieux of Lake Charles, LA and Joe Ponthieux of Lake Charles; one grandchild, Kaylee Ponthieux; brother, Marvin Quinn and wife Denatte of Lake Charles; and step-siblings, Debbie Thibodeaux, Dean Thibodeaux, Marlene Thibodeaux, and Darlene Thibodeaux; along with a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Quinn and Mary Lois Thibodeaux; and brother, Kenny Quinn.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
