-----------------

Eloise Navarre, peacefully departed from us on October 19, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on January 24, 1930, in Liberty, Texas, Eloise lived a life filled with love and joy, epitomized by the warmth she shared with her family and friends.

Eloise's life was marked by her nurturing spirit and compassionate heart, as she dedicated herself to caring for those around her. Whether she was folding clothes for her beloved grandchildren-Addison, Andrew, Ava, and Aubrianna-or sharing a laugh at her register at Brown's Grocery, where she proudly worked until the age of 87, she embraced each moment with enthusiasm and grace. Her lighthearted spirit shone through even when she remarked that if Brown's had provided her with a stool, she would still be scanning today. Such was her joyful dedication.

Eloise leaves behind her cherished children, Danny Chris Navarre (Ruby) and Cheryl Navarre Addison (T.K.), who, along with her grandchildren Keisha Addison Constance (Tony), Judd Addison, Matthew Navarre (Tiffany), Lakin Navarre Blue (Ian), Alexis King (Todd), Zoie Navarre, and Danny Chris Navarre, will forever carry the loving memories of her spirit in their hearts. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, and her sister, Carla Bourg (Paul), who also feel the profound impact of her love.

The reunion in heaven must be a beautiful sight, as Eloise is now joined with her beloved husband, Cleven Navarre Jr., her two sons, Brent Wayne Navarre and Bobby Navarre; granddaughters Angela Michelle Navarre Mount and Catrina Ann Navarre; great-grandson Landon Dale Mount; and her parents, Johnny and Pansy Harris. She is also reunited with her brothers, Segar Morgan and Johnny Doug Harris, and sisters, Barbara Merkel and Betty Bergeron, alongside her in-laws, Cleven and Mae Dell Stutes Navarre.

A gathering to celebrate Eloise's extraordinary life will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 10 AM to 1 PM. Family and friends will come together to share stories, laughter, and tears, reflecting on the beautiful memories shared with this remarkable woman. Following the gathering, we will lay her to rest at Hackberry Community Cemetery, where her spirit will continue to inspire and watch over those she loved so dearly.

In this time of remembrance, let us cherish the life of Eloise Navarre, a beacon of love, compassion, and joy. May we all carry a piece of her legacy within us as we continue our journey, reminding ourselves that her love will always guide us.
