Emma Laura Ledoux

Emma Laura LeDoux, 82, passed away at her residence on April 21, 2021. 

Emma was born on July 21, 1938 in Crowley, LA to Mayo and Carrie Morgan. 

She loved spending time on the beach and flower gardening. She also enjoyed decorating for the Christmas Season, listening to all kinds of music, collecting Elvis memorabilia, traveling, shopping, and watching wrestling. She will be remembered as a loving and nurturing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her five children, James LeDoux (Nancy) of Lake Charles, LA, Tammy Landry (Lovell) of Waggaman, Bridgette LeDoux of Church Point, LA, Robert LeDoux (Amber) of Belle Chase, LA, Reva “Lynne” Pourciau (Johnathan) of Roseland, LA, and Shaney LeDoux of Boron, CA; as well as 25 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael LeDoux and Joseph LeDoux; her parents; brothers, Dallas Morgan and John Morgan; and sister, Deanna Mier. 

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 23, 2021 at the Vineyard in Lake Charles under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. George Rodriguez will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Cremation will follow the service and has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
