Eola Teresa Corbello, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, will be remembered with love and gratitude following her peaceful passing on October 2, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on March 26, 1931, in Ragley, Louisiana, Eola spent her life devoted to her family and creating a warm, nurturing home in Dayton, Texas.
As a dedicated homemaker, Eola filled her days with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to her family. She cherished every moment spent tending to her garden and her animals, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Many afternoons were delightfully spent on her porch, savoring coffee while soaking in the serenity of her surroundings. Eola's vibrant spirit shone through her passion for playing dominoes and Rook, her enthusiasm for watching wrestling, and her love for dancing to the spirited rhythms of Cajun music.
Eola's legacy will live on through her devoted daughter, Roxanne Corbello Coleman, and her cherished grandchildren: Renee Sittig Murray, Monique Corbello, Juliet Corbello Dudley, Jennifer Ann Corbello, Carroll James Corbello, Kenneth Wayne Corbello, and Mary Kathleen Hales. She will also be lovingly remembered by numerous great-grandchildren, including Ginger Faye Young, Tyler Young, Amanda Kay Coleman, Michael Cyr, Kelsey Cyr, Bailey Ray Murray, Karley Murray, Larissa Cooper, Aiden Cooper, Michael Scott Corbello, Conner Corbello, Caitlain Corbello, Kyle Corbello and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Eola's family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her life. A visitation will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary recited at 6:30 PM, visitation will resume on Friday in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM, where stories and memories will be shared in celebration of her remarkable life. Eola will be laid to rest in Lacassine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Craig Richard, Kenneth Felice, Tommie Hicks, Wesley Felice, Raymond Richard, Troy Landry and Bryan Lognion.

Eola was preceded in death by her parents, Kennie Felice, and Ada Felice; her children, Clarence Lee Corbello, Billy Ray Corbello (Cecile), Bill Barrett Corbello and Annette Corbello; her siblings, Lacy Felice Clement, L.J. Felice, James Felice, Hazel Felice Richard, Nanell Jones, Wesley Felice, Kenneth Felice, Joyce "Wavy" Felice, Emma Pevego, Steward Felice.
